4)Tum Tum is a tiny homing pigeon hen that somehow got lost and wound up in the San Jose Animal Shelter. She has paired up with a giant king pigeon named Jazzy and both are being fostered by a MickaCoo volunteer.

1)These three little birds, Rosie, Scout and Ike, are Ring Neck Doves rescued through Mickaboo from a home that was vacated in 2008. They happily reside in Novato with three others just like them!

2)I adopted Ciel, my king pigeon, as part of the 'Great King Care-a-Van of '09" and since the day she arrived, in mid-March, she has become the 'pigeon love of my life'. She is huge [by pigeon standards] and beautiful and smart and sweet and funny!

3)June Bug is an adult female king pigeon that was picked up as a stray and was so sick when she came to MickaCoo that she couldn't even feed herself. After more than six weeks of hand-feeding and a slow recuperation, she has regained her health.

5)Frances and Country are adult, domestic king pigeons that were rescued as strays in San Francisco (Country in 2008, Frances in 2009). They've both seen some hard times but are now a mated couple and drawing strength and comfort from each other.
