Helping wild birds, doves, pigeons
If you find a wild dove (mourning dove, pigeon, and so on), you can take it to Wildlife Care Association in Sacramento (on McClellan Air Force base).
Call WCA at (916) 965-WILD and leave a message. The phone volunteers check the phones multiple times a day so you will be able to get a response in the same day. You can also get the physical address at www.wildlifecareassociation.net.
