Rescue Chocolate is partnering with Mickaboo! Order Rescue Chocolate online and type "Mickaboo" into the Message box on the order form. Rescue Chocolate will give Mickaboo $1 on every chocolate bar or truffle collection so designated. Their chocolate is delish!

Do your online searches with igive.com or  goodsearch.com to help earn Mickaboo money, at a penny per search! It all adds up!

Shop Online

Online purchases made through iGive.com, givebackamerica.com, goodshop.com, or escrip.com allow you to donate a part of your purchase to Mickaboo - at no cost to you! Do a one-time registration at the site(s) of your choice and select Mickaboo as your cause - then shop away! Online stores through which your purchases can generate donations include over 460 familiar stores (like Amazon, eBay, Barnes & Noble, Lands' End, PETsMART, Dell, Office Depot, QVC.com, and Best Buy)

Shop at SaveMart Stores

Your SaveMart, S-Mart and FoodMaxx purchases can earn money for Mickaboo at NO cost to you! Each time one of SaveMart's Mickaboo S.H.A.R.E.S. cards is swiped while you're making your grocery purchases, SaveMart donates a portion of your sale of eligible items to Mickaboo. Get a S.H.A.R.E.S. card for each of the grocery shoppers in the family! Email pr@mickaboo.org and let us know how many cards you want, and your US mail address.

Shop with Your Credit Card 

If you use credit cards, sign up at escrip.com to have participating stores (except for Safeway) donate a part of your purchases to Mickaboo. Increase the percentage donated to Mickaboo by using their online mall!

Shop or Donate to Community Thrift Store

Mickaboo partners with Community Thrift Store, a nonprofit retail store serving over 200 charities at 623 Valencia Street, San Francisco, CA. Community Thrift accepts donations of goods made in Mickaboo's name - sales of such, minus the store's operating costs, benefit Mickaboo!

Shop at the store 10 am - 6:30 pm, seven days a week!

To donate in Mickaboo's name, first double-check that your items will be accepted by Community Thrift. Review their lists of acceptable and unacceptable items. If you have questions about what will or will not be accepted, call them at 415-861-4910.  Then:

   - donate at their store, 10 am - 5 pm, seven days a week (with limited exceptions). Identify Mickaboo as the beneficiary of your donation.

   - if you have 20+ boxes or bags in San Francisco, call 415-861-4910 to arrange for pick up.

Community Thrift will give receipts for tax purposes at the donation door or at pick up.

Buy or Sell Real Estate!

Throw a Party!

Chevy's and Panda Express each allow individuals to host a party (dine-in or take-out) at their restaurants - and will donate 20-25% of the proceeds to Mickaboo!  See the details for Chevy's and Panda Express's programs - and contact us so we can help you with the details!

Recycle Your Cell Phones and Inkjet Cartridges

Mickaboo sends unused cell phones and empty inkjet cartridges to a recycler for cash. Give us your phones and cartridges at any of our public events.  Or, if you have twenty or more items to recycle in this way, you have the option of sending your items directly to the recycler on our behalf - simply email us with your US postal address, and we will send you a prepaid mailing label to use.

Give Your Opinions Online

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Op4G.  Hundreds of people have visited their site to become Members and expand their support of nonprofits like ours by participating in paid market research activities. 

Op4G (Opinions4Good) maintains an anonymous membership database and allows access to it for consumer research.  Advertising agencies and consumer-oriented companies pay Op4G Members for online surveys they take.  YOU will be paid for your participation, with at least 25% of surveyor's payments being donated to us!

Pet Food Express "My Mutt" Program

If you donate $250 to Mickaboo, Pet Food Express will send out a professional photographer to take pictures of your bird. They will also create a poster of your bird (with Mickaboo's name mentioned) and hang it in the window of a Pet Food Express store. Here's an example of the beautiful poster created for Thornwood, the budgie!
