The Artist Formerly Known As Poopsie - Artie - is a Goffin's Cockatoo who was given a second chance at life by Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue when she was plucked from San Francisco Animal Care & Control in 2003. She had been found in the home of a hoarder who had passed away. It took several days until someone found what was left of everyone, both human and avian: Artie was one of the "lucky" ones. After surgery and lots of TLC, she blossomed into the charmin little bundle of inexhaustible energy that we love.
The art in this calendar was created by Artie's parront's friend, John Jablonski, who calls Artie his "muse".
